To let Microsoft PhotoDraw adjust the tint for you, click Automatic at the bottom of the Color workpane, and then click a color in your object that should be close to white or light gray. If the results arenÆt what you expect, you can restore your object to its original color and use the following procedure to adjust the tint manually.
On the workspace or in the picture list, select the objects or grouped objects you want to modify.
On the Color menu, click Tint.
To select a tint color, move the Hue slider to the color you want.
Do one of the following:
To add more of the tint color, move the Amount slider or enter a value in the Amount box.
To remove the tint color, move the Amount slider to the left or enter a smaller value in the Amount box.
For example, to remove a yellowish tint from a photo, move the Hue slider until yellow is selected, and then gradually move the Amount slider to the left to remove the color.
For Help on an option, press SHIFT + F1, and then click the option.
Tips
The Tint effect works best when used to correct obvious color problems in a picture. For more precise color adjustment, you can balance an object's colors.
If you want to adjust the tint for only part of an object ù for example, an area of grass in a photo of a park ù you can selectively correct the tint.
